Australia VS India Match Preview:

The Indian team has added big-hitting batsman Rohit Sharma to the playing XI  as an opener replacing Mayank Agarwal. Apart from this, the rest of the batting lineup is the same. Ajinkya Rahane will be high in confidence after scoring a match-winning century in the last game. Rishabh Pant has a good record at Sydney when he traveled here last time. He looked good during his brief knock at MCG will look to score a big one at SCG.

Ravindra Jadeja has been the key player for team India on this tour. He contributed well with both bat as well as the ball in the last game. R Ashwin will play an important role on a spin-friendly track at Sydney. 

Australians will be happy to welcome back David Warner as an opener in this match. However, there is no clarity on who will be Warner's partner. Steve Smith and Marnus Labushchagne haven't been able to play their game in the previous two matches and will come to the crease with a bit of pressure. Tim Paine played an important knock for the team in the first test match but couldn't continue it in the second game. 

Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood have been excellent with the ball in this series. They have created a lot of pressure on the batsman and taken wickets in bunches. Nathan Lyon will be a big factor in Sydney. 

Both the teams have played equally well in this series so far. It won't be an easy win for either India or Australia, in case of the match ending with a result.

Australia - Tim Paine has confirmed that David Warner will play in this match. Medical experts have cleared Will Pucovski to be available for the third test. 

India - KL Rahul has been ruled out of the series due to a wrist injury. No new name has been added in place of him so far.
