Dubai, Nov 20 (IANS) Australia leadpfrogged South Africa to take the second place in the International Cricket Council (ICC) One-Day International (ODI) rankings, according the latest chart released Thursday.
Australia, who have 115 points, are leading an ongoing five-match ODI series against South Africa 2-1 and if they manage win the next two matches, they will move into first place with 117 points, edging out India by one-fifth of a point, as per the ICC release.
However, a South African victory in the next two matches would see the A.B. de Villiers-led side return to the second spot, a point adrift of India with Australia dropping to third.
