Kolkata, 15 January - Cricket Association of Bihar (CAB) secretary Aditya Verma on Friday wrote to the chief ministers of the states having unrecognised cricket associations on Friday urging them to ask the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to implement the Lodha Panel's recommendation of representation of all states in the BCCI.
In his letter to the chief ministers of Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, Telangana and Uttarakhand, Verma also urged them to ensure representation of the state cricket associations before the Supreme Court, which will hear on the implementation of the Lodha committee report.
"The Lodha Committee in his report has clearly said that not all states are represented on the BCCI and has recommended that each state shall be represented by a state cricket association duly recognised by the BCCI."
