US Open: Alexander Zverev booked his place in the US Open semi-finals for the third time in his career on Thursday (IST) when he downed Botic van de Zandschulp 6-2, 7-5, 6-1.

In the second set, Zverev quickly consumed the third set, spitting out another Grand Slam victory, a feat he has achieved regularly this year. more competitive as van de Zandschulp took advantage of Zverev’s ho-hum tennis, seizing two late break points and coming within two points of knotting the score. But van de Zandschulp couldn’t convert on his conservative baseline approach, and Zverev upended the uprising by holding serve.
