Despite an important European fixture coming up next week, the coach insisted his side is fully focused on the immediate challenge. “The players are the first who want to play, because they know Tuesday's result wasn't what we expected. I have spoken to most of them, and they want to play and offer a win to the fans,” he said as quoted by Xinhua.

Arbeloa also dismissed suggestions that his squad lacked commitment. “It is vital in life to have a good attitude and commitment. The players are the best in the world, but talent alone isn't enough if we want to be consistent,” he added.

The coach voiced strong support for midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, who has come under scrutiny after recent performances. “He has played a lot under me, and he will start tomorrow. He is an important player for the club, and he has shown the quality he has. He has the confidence of everyone at the club, including the coach,” Arbeloa said.
