Colombo, The 2nd test match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan will be played at Sinhalese Sports Club, Colombo from 14th August. Sri Lanka is leading the 2 match series by 1-0. Sri Lanka won the first test by 7 wickets.
Despite a good show by Pakistan in the first inning, the teamfumbled in the second innings at Galle to fall to an unlikely defeat. Skipper Misbah-ul-haq will expect his batsmen to maintain some degree of consistency to avoid another defeat in Colombo. Spin duo of Saeed Ajmal and Abdur Rehman have to capitalise in spin friendly conditions.
While host Sri Lanka go into the second test against Pakistan as favorites but all eyes will be on Mahela Jayawardene who will be playing his last professional test match. The team would like to win test match for their star batsman Mahela Jayawardene.
