No Pressure Leading MI Cape Town, Says Rashid Khan

The inaugural edition of SA20 begins on Jan. 10 with MI Cape Town playing against Paarl Royals. Rashid Khan, T20’s bonafide global superstar Rashid Khan is leading the MI Cape Town and is the only Non-South African captain in the league. Khan, however, feels that there is no extra pressure.

Khan’s squad is loaded with Dewald Brevis, Jofra Archer, Sam Curran and Liam Livingstone, making them a strong contender for the inaugural edition. Paarl Royals have Eoin Morgan, Jason Roy and Jos Buttler led by David Miller. The match will be live on JioCinema, Sports18 - 1 SD & HD, Sports18- Khel and Colors Tamil from 9:00 PM onwards.

“I think the experience of being vice-captain in the IPL for Gujarat (Gujarat Titans) has been good and that has helped me as a player as well. It is just about you making sure you enjoy your cricket and you can only give hundred percent and what capability you have, you just need to focus on that. So, I feel like there won't be any pressure, there is excitement that lot of things will be there that I can learn as a captain and that will make me better cricketer as well so, just looking forward to that,” explained Khan.
