Dot balls are crucial in T20 format says Rashid Khan
IPL 2018
April 13 (CRICKETNMORE) - Playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad, leg spinner Rashid Khan's tight spell against Mumbai Indians earned him man of the match award in IPL game on Thursday. He dedicated this award to his friend whose son is in hospital.
During the presentation ceremony, he said, "Dot balls are crucial in such a short format it was the plan to bowl as many dot balls as possible. I just try my best to bowl in good length area and mix it up for the batsman. Love to bowl both - leg-spin and googly."
"People back home love the fact that Afghanistan players are playing in IPL. We want to see their smiling faces, because what's happening there is not so good. That's what all of us are striving for. Want to dedicate this win to my friend whose son is in the hospital. Everything will go to him."
