After opting to bat first, SRH post 191-4 in 20 Overs. Kane Williamson and Shikhar Dhawn put on 136 runs for the second wicket after the early dismissal of captain David Warner. Williamson scored 89 off 51 balls while Dhawan made 70 off 50 balls.

Chris Morris was the only successful bowler for the Daredevils as he finished with impressive figures of 4-26.

Delhi Daredevils - 176/5 in 20 Overs

Delhi lost the opener Sam Billings early in the innings but a 71-run partnership between Sanju Samson and Karun Nair put the chase back on the track. Samson hit three fours and two sixes in his 33-ball 42, while Karun made 33 off 23 balls. The partnership was broken when Karun was run out while attempting a risky second run. Three balls later, Rishabh Pant – sent to bat at number four – holed out to long on first ball.

Shreyas Iyer (50* from 31 balls) and Angelo Mathews (31 from 23 balls) kept their team in the chase by keeping the scoreboard ticking but finally remained short by 15 runs.

Mohammed Siraj was the most successful bowler for Hyderabad with figures of 2/39.
