St. Lucia, Aug 10 (CRICKETNMORE): Continuing their spirited form, Ravichandran Ashwin and Wriddhaman Saha took India to 316 for five at lunch, defying the West Indies bowling attack on the second day of the third Test at the Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium here on Wednesday.

The duo is on the verge of making centuries in the post-lunch session and a record sixth wicket unbeaten partnership 190.

Desperate efforts of Windies skipper Jason Holder in shuffling his pacers and spinners could not separate the Indians from batting freely. Kohli is the best game finisher says Hayden.

Brief Scores: India 316/5 (Ravichandran Ashwin 99, Wriddhiman Saha 93, Alzarri Joseph 2/54, Roston Chase 2/50)
