WATCH: Youngster Mukesh Choudhary Takes An Excellent Running Catch Against RCB

RCB vs CSK IPL 2022: Chennai Super Kings' fielding has been below par this season of the IPL. After dropping multiple catches this season, CSK has been struggling with this third & important aspect of the game, as acknowledged by the CSK captain MS Dhoni. 

However, Mukesh Choudhary grabbed an excellent catch against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Rajat Patidar, who was batting at a strike rate of 140.00, was dismissed courtesy of a brilliant catch by young Chennai bowler Mukesh Choudhary. 

After 15 overs, Royal Challengers Bangalore had scored 123/3. Rajat Patidar was batting on 21* with a four & a six. Dwaine Pretorius, the allrounder from South Africa came on to bowl the 16th over.

On the first delivery, Pretorius went from around the wicket and bowled a good delivery on-off. Rajat Patidar heaved it with might and miscued it off the high part of the bat. The ball seemed to be landing safely in no man's land. 

However, Mukesh Choudhary sprinted in from the deep square who ran in and took it with two hands, diving forward to complete the catch. Patidar scored 21 runs in 15 balls with a four & a six.

Earlier, Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni won the toss & opted to field first in the 49th match of IPL 2022. In the first innings, the RCB batters sput up a team effort to post 173/8 in 20 overs. For RCB, Mahipal Lomror 42 runs off 27 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes. For CSK, Maheesh Theekshana picked up 3 wickets while Moeen Ali picked up 2 wickets. Dwaine Pretorius also managed 1 wicket. This match is being played at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune.
