Mumbai, May 14 (IANS) Pakistan bowling legend Wasim Akram on Wednesday gave bowling tips and classes to Arjun Tendulkar, as father Sachin Tendulkar looked on at the Wankhede Stadium here on Wednesday.

Akram is the bowling coach of Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). KKR will face Mumbai Indians here on Thursday.

Ahead of Kolkata's practice on Wednesday, Akram was seen giving bowling and fitness tips to Arjun at the Wankhede nets as Sachin Tendulkar stood by the side and watched his son's progress.

Speaking on this, the 48-year-old bowling legend said :"I met Arjun last summer in England, he played an exhibition game there. He was bowling and I was standing at mid on. And I think he got Brian Lara out. He is just 15 years old, he is very keen, he is a left-arm medium pacer. I spoke to him about his action and about his swing and also about his fitness which is very very crucial. He is very eager and that is a good thing."

Sachin was also seen giving tips to his son.
