Lahore, April 9 (IANS) Pakistan quick Wahab Riaz is set to meet sacked England batsman Kevin Pietersen in county ranks after he confirmed his signing with Surrey.

The man who terrorised the Australian batsmen during the cricket World Cup quarter-final, will join the person who made a habit of creating havoc in the Australian bowling attack, Pietersen, at the historic club.

“As far as county cricket is concerned, I am going to play it again this year. At the moment I am having some visa issues but hopefully they will be sorted soon. I have signed with Surrey to play a couple of Twenty20 matches," Riyaz was quoted as saying by cricket.com.au.

However, his stint with the club will be a short one as he will be busy playing in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

"As Pakistan will be busy playing in Bangladesh and then in Sri Lanka, therefore, my stint at Surrey will be very short. My priority is to play for the national team," he said.
