In the ongoing Eliminator match between Royal Challengers Bangalore & Kolkata Knight Riders, Virat Kohli's RCB were batting first after winning the toss. RCB Skipper Virat Kohli looked set as he had played more than 30 balls and struck 5 boundaries in the powerplay.

However, in the 12th over, Sunil Narine bowled a flighted delivery on the 2nd ball which Kohli tried to sweep across, but there was a huge gap between his bat & pad, and the leg stump went for a toss. Virat Kohli scored 39 runs off 33 balls with 5 boundaries.

Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore while chasing 138 defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 4 wickets in a low scoring thriller to reach Qualifier 2 of the IPL 2021. For KKR, the highest scorer was Gill with 29 but the target was low and all the other batters contributed.

Earlier, Royal Challengers Bangalore Captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first against Kolkata Knight Riders in the Eliminator match of the IPL 2021. The match is being played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah.
