The 1999 ICC Cricket World Cup was the seventh edition of the tournament. It was hosted by primarily by England and some games were hosted in Scotland, Ireland, Wales and the Netherlands. Australia beat Pakistan in the final by 8 wickets at Lord's to lift the trophy for the 3rd time. Lance Klusener of South Africa was declared the Player of the Tournament. Rahul Dravid (India) scored most runs (461), Geoff Allott (New Zealand) and Shane Warne (Australia) tied each other for most wickets (20) in the tournament.
