The 1996 Wills World Cup was the sixth edition of Cricket World Cup. It was jointly hosted by India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka won the tournament by defeating Australia in the final at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.
