Chris Gayle playing in his 50th CPL match hit 71 not out off 55 balls in the Patriots score of 208/3 agaist his former team, the Jamaica Tallawahs. Man of the Match Evin Lewis smashed 69 off 39 balls and put on 110 runs off 12.3 overs with Gayle.

The Tallawahs managed 171/7 with Tabraiz Shamsi taking 3 for 35 in four overs, falling short by 37 runs.
