Ranchi, Nov 16 (IANS) Angelo Mathews played a captain's knock of 139 not out to power Sri Lanka to 286/8 in their fifth and final One-Day International (ODI) against India at the JSCA International Stadium Complex here Sunday.

Electing to bat, the visitors posted the challenging total against India with Lahiru Thirimanne also scoring 52.

Dhawal Kulkarni was the pick of the Indian bowlers, taking 3/57 in eight overs.

India have already won the series 4-0.
