Mumbai, Jan 7 (IANS) Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, a fan of Yuvraj Singh, has expressed his disappointment at the cricketer's exclusion from the 15-member Indian squad for the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup.

Varun was present at an awards ceremony in Mumbai Tuesday when he was asked to comment on the BCCI's decision to keep Yuvraj out of the tournament. The young actor said: "Obviously...I'm a big Yuvi fan, so obviously I am sad about it."

However, the "Main Tera Hero" star has wished "all the best" to the India team.

"I obviously want India to do well no matter what. But...(I'm a) little disappointed that Yuvraj is not in the team despite having scored three consecutive centuries in the Ranji Trophy," he added.

On the film front, Varun will next be seen sharing screen space with Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Qureshi and Yami Gautam in "Badlapur". The film will hit screens Feb 20.
