Mumbai, June 17 (CRICKETNMORE): Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar on Friday wished India's veteran tennis star Leander Paes on his 43rd birthday.

Former India batsman Tendulkar also wished Paes luck for the forthcoming Rio de Janerio Olympics scheduled to start on August 5.

"Happy Birthday @Leander. May you have a rocking year and Chalo Rio mein Tiranga Laherayein!" Tendulkar tweeted.

Paes will partner Rohan Bopanna in the men's doubles category and will gun for a medal at the Olympics.

Paes recently won 2016 French Open mixed doubles crown along with Swiss partner Martina Hingis.

Paes has bagged 18 Grand Slam titles in both men's and mixed doubles events till date.
