New Delhi, Oct 16 (Cricketnmore):  Saurashtra off-spinner Vandit Jivrajani (6/79) bowled brilliantly to bundle out Jammu and Kashmir for 256 runs in their second innings, helping his side clinch their second consecutive victory in Group B of the Ranji Trophy at Rajkot on Monday.

Earlier, Jammu and Kashmir were forced to follow-on after they were bowled out for 156 runs in their first innings.

In Group D, Vidarbha rode on brilliant bowling from spinning duo Akshay Karnewar (6/47) and Akshay Wakhare (4/83) to bundle out Punjab for 227 runs, registering victory by an innings and 117 runs in Mohali.

Meanwhile, defending champions Gujarat in Group B edged closer to victory, posting 22/1 at stumps on Day 3 against Kerala.

The hosts required 83 runs to clinch victory on the final day of the match at the GS Patel Stadium in Nadiad.

In the other Group A match between Hyderabad and Uttar Pradesh, rain continued to play spoil sport, thus the third consecutive day of the match was called-off without a single ball being bowled at the Gymkhana Ground in Hyderabad.
