Kolkata, March 13 (Cricketnmore): Giving a thumbs up to the security provided by the Indian authorities, Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik on Sunday said he has never faced any security issues during his frequent trips to the country.

Malik, who is the husband of India’s tennis star Sania Mirza, rated the security provided to his team as "good".

"Firstly, I would like to thank the Indian government. The security is very good," Malik said in his opening remarks at an open media session ahead of the World twenty20.

"My wife is from India and I come to India a lot. I have never faced any security issue," the 34-year-old acknowledged.

Malik said he has always got lot of love from the Indian people and the media.

"I don't really see any difference between Pakistani people and the Indians. We eat the same food, we speak the same language. I don't really see any difference."

"I am very happy to be in India. I have always got a lot of love from people and from media. I'm honoured to be in India."
