30th August (CRICKETNMORE) - While Team India is getting ready for the upcoming home series against New Zealand, star opener Murali Vijay and West Indian ex-t20 captain Darren Sammy are all set to make their movie debut. The two will be seen in upcoming tamil movie "Kaarthi 77" which will be directed by John Albert, co-director of blockbusters such as Singham and Saamy.

Another cricketer Thalaivan Sargunam who represented Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL will play the lead role in the upcoming film. When asked about the subject of the movie, Sargunam said, "Sargunam quipped, “The movie has a beautiful subject which I wouldn't want to reveal at this point of time. We are in talks with famous artists to play various characters. We are looking for a right producer at this point of time.”
The duo of Murali Vijay and Darren sammy will be seen in a promo song.
