Mumbai Indians will be delighted with the way they played their last game against RCB despite the loss. The inclusion of wicket-keeper batsman Ishan Kishan has given the team the right amount of balance and power they need. Quinton de Kock has been struggling since the start of the season, Mumbai could give him a break to make way for another attacking batsman Chris Lynn.
MI's bowling has been inconsistent in the three matches they have played. Hardik Pandya's absence in the bowling leaves Rohit Sharma with limited bowling options. Spinners Krunal Pandya and Rahul Chahar need to get wickets in the middle overs, which they have failed to do till now.
Kings XI Punjab's top order is in red hot form. However, apart from KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal, no other batsman has made an impression. Nicholas Pooran hasn't done much with the opportunities he has got and could make way for Chris Gayle this time.
Despite a poor bowling performance in the last game, KXIP is likely to play with the same bowling unit. Every bowler has chipped in from time to time but they need a collective bowling performance from the unit to put pressure on the opposition. Adding Deepak Hooda in the line-up can give Punjab an extra bowling option and a good power hitter.
The match will be between two equals and is likely to go down to the wire. This game could be an addition to the high scoring game list in this season.
