August 25 (CRICKETNMORE) - MS Dhoni equalled the record for most stumpings in One-day Internationals on Thursday by claiming his 99th victim in the second game against Sri Lanka at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.

The former India captain, MS Dhoni took 99th stumping of his career when he whipped the bails off to dismiss Sri Lankan opener Danushka Gunathilaka in the second ODI of a five-match series in Kandy.

MS Dhoni has now equalled Kumar Sangakkara's record for most stumpings in one-day internationals. While Sangakkara took 404 matches for 99 stumpings, Dhoni took only 298 matches to achieve the feet.
