24th July (CRICKETNMORE) - Team India speedstar Mohammed Shami who made a comeback against West Indies in the first test completed his 50 wickets in the test cricket. He took 4/66 against West Indies in the first innings at Antigua. This was his best bowling figures vs West Indies in Tests, obliterating the 4 for 71 at Kolkata in November 2013. Also Check Wriddheman Saha's record made in the first test against West Indies.

Shami has now taken 51 wickets at an average of 34.64 in 13 Tests. He has equalled Venkatesh Prasad's feat, who had figures of 54 wickets (ave.27.29) after 13 Tests. Both share an Indian record by a pacer for the quickest to reach 50 test wickets.
