Kolkata, Sep 26 (CRICKETNMORE): West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday congratulated the Indian cricket team for registering a win on their 500th Test appearance.

The chief minister's comments came hours after India cruised to a 197-run win against New Zealand on the final day of the Kanpur Test.
