9th April, Chennai (CRICKETNMORE) - Chennai beat Delhi by 1 run in a thriller at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, here.

Scorecard of Delhi vs Chennai IPL 2015 Match

Man of the Match: Ashish Nehra: I think we were 15-20 runs short. The way we started, we should have gone onto make 15-20 more. Every bowler knew that the start was important and I am glad that we did well. It's a T20 game and obviously it is important to make a good start. The 2 points matter a lot.

MS Dhoni: I think you have to hold onto your nerves, that's what is important. The last ball was not in the slot and Bravo probably didn't like it himself. We were probabloy 10-15 runs short. He is good. At times he gets injured, but he bowls well. It's good to see him the way he bowls, he has been with us for the last couple of seasons. He is one of the few Indian bowlers who bowl effortlessly at decent pace.

JP Duminy: It is unbelievable. Proud of the way boys played today. One or two balls more and we would have won it. The gameplan was try to take wickets, we knew they will come out hard against us. All credit to the spinners for pulling things back in the middle.
