Toss - Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bat first.

Bangladesh Innings - Bangladesh team were bowled out for 307 in 50th over. Tamim Iqbal (60) and Somya Sarkar (54) gave an opening stand of 102 in 13 overs. Shakib-ul Hasan (52), S Rahman (41) and N Hossain (34) helped the team to reach the total of 307 in 49.4 overs. Ashwin (3/51) was the most successful Indian Bowler.

Indian Innings - Indian team collapsed against some electrifying Bangladeshi bowling, led by debutant left arm seamer Mustafizur Rahman (5/50), Taskin (2/21) and Shakib (2/40). Apart from Rohit Sharma (63), Suresh Raina (40) and Jadeja (32) no other Indian batsman was able to stay at the crease.

Result - Bangladesh beat India by 79 runs.
