Former Sri Lankan Cricketer Hashan Tilakaratne is appointed as the head coach of Kandy Tuskers while the team is yet to announce the captain who will lead the side in the inaugural edition of much awaited LPL 2020.
Kandy has West Indies legend Chris Gayle, local icon Kusal Perera, Sri Lankan T20 specialists Kusal Mendis and Nuwan Pradeep, former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan, and England right-arm fast bowler Liam Plunkett among others in the team.
Kandy Tuskers will play their first game against Colombo Kings on 26th November 2020.
