24th August, Colombo (CRICKETNMORE) - India bowled out Sri Lanka for for 134 runs in the second innings to win the second Test match by 278 runs at the P Sara Oval ground here on Monday.Sri Lanka were 130/9 at lunch with India needing just a wicket to level the series and the hosts could add only four runs to their total after lunch. With the win, India level series at 1-1.

1st Innings (India) : KL Rahul 108 & fifties from Kohli (78), Rohtit (79) and Shah (56) helped India to score post 393 in the first innings of the 2nd test match. For Sri Lanka left-arm off-spinner Rangana Herath bagged 4-81, while Dhammika Prasad, skipper Angelo Mathews and Dushmantha Chameera picked two wickets each.
2nd Innings (Sri Lanka) : Angelo Mathews (102) and Lahiru Thiramanne (62) and Kaushal Silva (51) help host Sri Lanka to score 306 in their first innings. 3rd Innings (India) : India declared their second innings of the second cricket Test against Sri Lanka at 325/8, setting a 413-run win-target for the hosts. Resuming the day at 70/1, Ajinkya Rahane (126) and Murali Vijay (82) were the main scorers for India who extended their 87-run first innings lead to 412 runs.For Sri Lanka, pacer Dhammika Prasad (4-43) and off-spinner Tharindu Kaushal (4-118) shared the Indian wickets. The duo didn't allow the Indian lower-order to score freely after claiming Rahane and Rohit Sharma (34).
