March 6 (CRICKETNMORE) - India fought back on Day three in the second Test against Australia on Monday. India were 126 runs ahead at stumps on Day three of the Bengaluru test.

First, Ravindra Jadeja grabbed six wickets to dismiss Australia for 276 runs in their first innings. Later an unbeaten 93-run stand for the fifth wicket from Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane helped India stage a comeback by securing a 126-run lead in the second innings at the close of third day play.

KL Rahul played some remarkable shots in second innings before being dismissed for 51 by O Keefe. He also completed 1000 Test runs in only his 25th innings.

Indian Captain Virat Kohli poor form with the bat continues in this series. He was dismissed LBW for 15 to fast bowler Josh Hazlewood. Kohli was very upset by the decision as he walked back to the pavilion.
