India made four changes to their playing XI. Rishabh Pant, Lokesh Rahul, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Yuzvendra Chahal came in for Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Ambati Rayudu, Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja.
