26th January, Sydney: The fifth ODI of the tri-series cricket tournament between host Australia and India was washed out following heavy rains at SCG in Sydney. Both teams share 2 points each from the game. India-England match on 29th January is now a knockout game with the winner to face Australia in the final.

India were sent in to bat by Australian captain George Bailey after he won the toss. India reached 69 for two after 16 overs when rain spoiled the proceedings.
