18th August (CRICKETNMORE) - India A Skipper Manish Pandey scores match-winning century to guide team to a close win over South Africa A by 3-wickets in the quadrangular One-Day series on Wednesday. Pandey scored a brilliant unbeaten 100 off 105 deliveries that includes nine boundaries and a six.
Earlier India A won the toss and elected to field first. The bolwers did a fabulous job by restricting South Africa to a modest total of 230 runs. The South African openers crumbled under the Indian bowling attack managing only 35 runs losing 4 wickets. Kulkarni starred with the ball claiming 4-37 in 10 overs to show for his efforts. India A were struggling at 187/7 with the skipper standing firm at one end and wickets dwindling at the other. The skipper found unlikely support in Kulkarni, who had earlier performed stupendously with the ball, helping India secure the key victory.
