India vs Sri Lanka 2nd Test: Sri Lankan spinners got the most from the pitch that was offering quite a lot in the first session of day 1 itself.

India won the toss and opted to bat first and brought Axar Patel back in the playing XI.

India didn't have a great start as they lost Mayank Agarwal with a freak dismissal. Rohit Sharma was looking good as long as the pace bowlers were on the charge. However, Rohit got out defending a ball from Lasith Embuldeniya.

Hanuma Vihari and Virat Kohli looked in brilliant touch and added 47 runs in 102 balls for the third wicket. But things began turning massively in the last half an hour of the session.

Vihari got out on 31 and soon Virat Kohli followed him for 23 - both on spinners.

Rishabh Pant is currently at the crease, played nine balls, and scored 16 runs with the help of three fours.
