India vs Sri Lanka: Ravindra Jadeja's five-wicket haul helped India bowl out Sri Lanka and enforce the follow-on in the first session of day 3 of the first test match at Mohali's PCA Stadium.

Charith Asalanka and Pathum Nissanka - Sri Lanka's overnight batters - began the day positively and looked to score runs and rotate the strike. They had a bit of luck as well as India dropped two catches in the first 50 minutes of the day.

Jasprit Bumrah gave India the breakthrough as he trapped Asalanka in front for 29 runs. After that, the Sri Lankan team fell like a house of cards. From being 161/4 in 57.5 overs, Sri Lanka collapsed to 174/10 in 65 overs. 

Jadeja completed his yet another five-wicket haul and joined an elite list of players scoring 150+ and picking a fifer in a test. The all-rounder is the sixth player to achieve this feat. 

India enforced a follow-on on Sri Lanka with 400 runs to trail. 

The final 15 minutes saw India bowling four overs and R Ashwin removing Lahiru Thirimanne.
