Dubai, March 20 (CRICKETNMORE): The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday announced the appointment of Ankur Khanna to the post of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Khanna, who was the CFO of Air Asia India for the last one year, will join the ICC at the end of March, according to ICC's official statement. Tamil Nadu clinch 3rd Vijay Hazare crown, outplay Bengal

Commenting on his appointment, ICC Chief Executive David Richardson said: "I am delighted to welcome someone of Ankur's pedigree to the ICC. His CV is outstanding, having provided leadership to culturally diverse teams in a number of multi-national roles. He has a proven track record and will make a positive contribution to our senior team."

Khanna, who will relocate from Bengaluru to the ICC headquarters in Dubai said: "This is such an exciting opportunity for me both as a professional and as a huge cricket fan. 

"I am looking forward to joining the team in Dubai and bring my experience to benefit the ICC and the rest of the sport around the world."
