A day earlier too, Zico had expressed unhappiness about the turf calling it unsuitable for football.

"The last time I was here it was real grass, now its artificial turf, not suitable to play football," Zico had told reporters ahead of their clash against Atletico de Kolkata.

Zico earlier came here in 2004 as coach of Japan for a world cup qualifier against India which was played at the same venue, but then it had a grass field.

He said FC Goa was now up for the Atletico de Kolkata challenge in the play-off double header Dec 14 (Kolkata) and Dec 17 (Goa).

He said the game was played on an even level with both sides creating opportunities.

"It was an even game but Kolkata had the desire to win", said the Brazilian.
