Kolkata, July 9 (CRICKETNMORE): The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on July 31, it was announced on Saturday.

The decision to hold the AGM on the last day of this month was taken after the working committee meeting here on Saturday evening.

The AGM will also have the elections where Sourav Ganguly in all probability will retain his chair as the president of the body. The former India captain had succeeded Jagmohan Dalmiya after the latter’s death in September.

“The AGM will be held on July 31. The last day to file nominations for the elections is July 23,” treasurer Biswaroop Dey told the media after the meeting.

The CAB annual awards function where former Bengal skipper Gopal Bose will be feted with the ‘Lifetime Achievement’ award will also be held on July 23.
