Sunday's meeting is seen as vital for the two IPL franchises, who were earlier suspended by the Supreme Court following Justice R.M. Lodha committee's report on the 2013 IPL spot-fixing scandal.

The working committee will be chaired by newly-appointed BCCI president Manohar, who took over the reins for the second time after the post became vacant due to the demise of Jagmohan Dalmiya.

The IPL working group under chief Rajiv Shukla has called for fresh bidding to make the lucrative tournament an eight-team event, keeping in mind the demands from the broadcasters and sponsors.

The date of the next annual general meeting of the board is also likely to be finalised in Sunday's meeting.
