Indian batsman Rohit Sharma holds the record of scoring highest individual score in ODI. He smashed 264 against Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, India in 2014.

2. Martin Guptill (New Zealand) - 237* vs West Indies

New Zealand batsman Martin Guptill holds the record of second highest individual score in ODI. He smashed an unbeaten 237 against West Indies at Westpac Stadium, Wellington, New Zealand in 2015.

3. Virender Sehwag (India) - 219 vs West Indies

Indian batsman Virender Sehwag holds the record of third highest individual score in ODI. He smashed 219 against West Indies at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore, India in 2011. 

 

4. Chirs Gayle (West Indies) - 215 vs Zimbabwe

West Indies batsman Chris Gayle holds the record of fourth highest individual score in ODI. He smashed 215 against Zimbabwe at Manuka Oval, Canberra in 2015. 

 

5. Rohit Sharma (India) - 209 vs Australia

Indian batsman Rohit Sharma scored two double centuries in ODI. Apart from being the record holder of highest individual ODI score, he also holds the record of fifth highest individual score in ODI. He smashed 209 against Australia at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore, India in 2013.

 

6. Sachin Tendulkar (India) - 200* vs South Africa

Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar holds the record of sixth highest individual score in ODI. He smashed an unbeaten 200 against South Africa at Captain Roop Singh Stadium, Gwalior, India in 2010. The record is till 28th Feb 2017.
