"It's their internal matter. (But) the Bangladesh PM has said she will turn up for the Test in Kolkata. If she has given her consent, I don't see how the national team won't," Ganguly told reporters after taking charge here of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

The former skipper had confirmed earlier that Sheikh Hasina had accepted the invitation sent to her to come and witness the second Test between India and Bangladesh at the historic Eden Gardens from November 22 to 26.

Questions arose about the tour after senior Bangladesh players went on a strike on Monday. However, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hassan said on Tuesday that the India tour will proceed as per plan.

Bangladesh are scheduled to play three T20 Internationals and two Test matches as part of the World Test Championships.

If Bangladesh does not turn up, the ICC will award the Test series to India who will get 120 points.
