Dhaka, Sep 16 (CRICKETNMORE): Bangladeshi ace cricketer Shakib Al Hasan had a narrow escape on Friday morning when the helicopter he was travelling in crashed on its return journey, media reports said. Brisbane Test: Australia A 1st Innings 319/5, Day 2 Stumps (Full Scorecard).

Shakib and his wife Umme Ahmed Shishir flew to Tulip Sea Pearl Beach Resort, near Inani sea-beach in Cox's Bazar district, Bangladesh, for a television commercial shoot.

The chopper on its return journey took off with five passengers, including the pilot, and crashed around 10.30 a.m. in Redu Khal area near Inani sea beach. One person was killed and four others injured in the accident.

"I am fine, but feel rather shocked at the news of the chopper crash." The Daily Star quoted Shakib as saying.

The cause of the accident is yet unknown.
