The umpires of the match formally lodged the complaint after the game ended at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.

The 18-year-old went wicketless giving away 30 runs in 8 overs against the Proteas.

He will undergo a test within the next two weeks at an International Cricket Council (ICC)-approved laboratory. However, he will be able to keep bowling until the result is out, as per the rules.

Bangladesh will take on Scotland in the second Group A match in Cox's Bazar on Sunday.
