April 6 (CRICKETNMORE) - Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka by 45 runs in the final match of the series to level the series 1-1. Earlier Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza won the toss and opted to bat in his final International T20 in Colombo on Thursday.

Bangladesh posted 176 for 9 in 20 overs with the help of contributions from Shakib Al Hasan (38), Imrul Kayes (36), Soumya Sarkar (34).

For Sri Lanka, Lasith Malinga took the hat-trick and became only the fifth bowler in the history of Twenty20 internationals. Malinga bowled Mushfiqur Rahim, Mashrafe Mortaza and trapped debutant Mehedi Hasan lbw in his final over to finish with 3-34. 

Chasing the target of 177, Sri Lanka was bowled out for 131 in 18 overs. Mustafizur Rahman took four and Shakib three wickets for Bangladesh.
