Kolkata, Feb 16 (IANS) Veteran Australian chinaman bowler Brad Hogg expressed his happiness at being bought by current Indian Premier League (IPL) champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the auction held at Bengaluru Monday.

The 44-year-old, who was part of the Big Bash League (BBL) winning Perth Scorchers side tweeted: "Stoked to be joining the Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2015 Indian Premier League. Does that mean I've been Knighted?"

He then shared a picture of KKR which read, "welcome Brad Hogg" and tweeted “Nice welcome from my new team ... Kolkata Knight Riders”.

Hogg has previously played for the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL and has taken 10 wickets from the same number of matches at an average of 28.40.
