9th November, Sunday, Sydney: Australia won the Twenty20 by 2 wickets against South Africa in a thriller. Australia won the 3 match series by 2-1.
Australia won the toss and sent South Africa in to bat in the third and deciding Twenty20 at Sydney Olympic Stadium. Australian bowlers did a commandable job by restricting South Africa to 6-145 from 20 overs in the third and final KFC T20 International in Sydney.Cameron White (41" from 31) led a mid-innings recovery to put Australia in the driving seat chasing 146, only for the Proteas to fight back at the death, before White combined with the tail-enders to see the hosts home in a nail-biting finish.
