Adelaide, March 15 (IANS) The Australian cricket team will have a day off on Monday before assembling here on Tuesday ahead of their World Cup quarterfinal against Pakistan at the Adelaide Oval on Friday.

The co-hosts will not train on Monday but will resume practice on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, said a Cricket Australia (CA) statement on Sunday.

Australia finished second in Pool A with four wins, one draw and one loss with their last victory coming against Scotland on Saturday at Hobart.
