Kolkata, May 24 (IANS) Actor-director Farhan Akhtar, who is in the city to cheer Mumbai Indians at the Indian Premier League final, hoped he could catch a sixer during the match.

"I always wanted to catch a sixer ball and I will stay out and cheer for Mumbai Indians in the balcony instead of sitting inside the air conditioned room," Farhan said.

Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings battled it out at the IPL finale at the Eden Gardens here.

Farhan was accompanied by actors Anil Kapoor and Ranveer Singh who all rooted for Mumbai Indians.

The trio were in the city to promote their forthcoming film "Dil Dhadakne Do" set for a June 5 release.
